After my previous life working as an architect for Richard Meier and Partners and Philip Johnson Architects, printmaking has allowed me to explore a looser form of artistic expression to achieve complex, layered visual landscapes that are getting ever more painterly. I experiment with printmaking by trying to push the medium to its limits . Making a mark is what matters to me and allowing for the happy accident to take me places. Pull + Push.
I am attempting to straddle the line between printmaking, drawing, painting and collage though deploying the techniques of monotype, monoprint, drypoint, etching, collograph, lithography, chine colle and viscosity.
